Tyler Cary has served in various roles at Angela Hospice since joining the team in January 2019, first as a RN Case Manager and assisting with midnight on-call, then transitioning to the Informatics department in 2021. He was promoted to Lead Clinical Informatics Coordinator in 2024 and was subsequently named Health Information Manager in 2025, overseeing documentation and workflows related to the electronic health record. In March 2026 he was promoted to the role of Director of Quality and Health Information.
Tyler’s previous experience included medical-surgical nursing, before moving on to Beaumont Royal Oak where he advanced his interest in hospice and palliative care. Tyler earned his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Olivet Nazarene University in 2014. His volunteer work includes various ministries at his local church.
