Nadia Tremonti, MD

Physician Clinical Leader

Dr. Nadia Tremonti oversees the care of patients in Angela Hospice’s My Nest is Best pediatric program. She is a 2002 graduate of the Wayne State University School of Medicine, and is double board certified in pediatrics, and hospice and palliative medicine. She completed her internship and residency in pediatrics at Children’s Hospital of Michigan and Wayne State University, before becoming chief resident. After her residency, Dr. Tremonti completed her fellowship in hospice and palliative medicine at the Detroit Medical Center. She also trained at Akron Children’s Hospital in Ohio and Children’s Hospital Boston.

Currently, she works as Medical Director of the Pediatric Palliative Care Team at the Children’s Hospital of Michigan and is an assistant professor of pediatrics at Central Michigan University, her alma mater. Dr. Tremonti has received the Hour Detroit Top Docs Award in Hospice and Palliative for numerous years in a row, and her work is featured in two documentary short films, the New York Times’ Dying in Your Mother’s Arms and Palliative.
