As a licensed master social worker, Melissa Stewart spent years working with individuals experiencing mental health challenges and developmental disabilities. She then transitioned to a career in hospice. Working first with Gentiva Hospice in a social work role, Melissa Stewart joined the Angela Hospice team in July 2024 as a Home Care Clinical Manager. In July 2026, she was promoted to Director of Hospice Access Services, and now oversees Angela Hospice’s Patient Support Center, on-call nurses, admit nurses, and Patient Access Center. Melissa earned her Master of Social Work degree from the University of Michigan in 2004.
