Maureen Szczypka has over 35 years in public accounting experience, and has had an emphasis on tax and consulting throughout her career. She’s currently a senior manager and Certified Public Accountant (CPA) for the firm, Myler & Szczypka, P.C. (formerly Myler & Associates, P.C.), where she consults others on managing their financial goals, and oversees and reviews tax returns for businesses, individuals, and non-profits.
A member of both the Michigan Association of Certified Public Accountants, and the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Maureen graduated from Central Michigan University, where she received a Bachelor of Business Administration.
Maureen is also the founding Board Member of the David Widzinski Community Golf Classic, which has raised over $300,000 for local charities since 2013; and is on the Finance Committee of St. Edith Catholic Church.
