Kristina Kosta, NP

Kristina Kosta joined the Angela Hospice team in December 2018 as a nurse practitioner overseeing the care of patients in Angela Hospice’s Care Center. Since earning her nursing degree from the University of Detroit Mercy in 1999, Kristina has worked in a variety of healthcare settings, including Miami Children’s Hospital and the Atlantic Shores Hospital for psychiatric disorders and chemical dependency, in addition to positions as a triage nurse and healthcare coach. Most recently, she worked as an admissions nurse for Arbor Hospice while completing her Masters in Adult-Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner with Hospice and Palliative Care Specialty at Madonna University. She earned her certification in the fall of 2018. Kristina also passed the Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Nurse examination in 2018, which is designed for experienced hospice and palliative nurse practitioners.
