Justin Muhlenkamp was named Angela Hospice’s Senior Director of Clinical Operations in March 2026. A registered nurse certified in hospice and palliative care, Justin has been with Angela Hospice since 2017, first as an Admit Float nurse in the Home Care Department, then as Clinical Informatics Coordinator. In October 2020, Justin was promoted to Clinical Informatics Manager, leading the development of workflow processes within the electronic health records system, as well as training team members. In this role he worked to improve both system efficiency and user experience, while ensuring adherence to Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services regulations. In June 2024, Justin was promoted to Director of Quality & Health Information, overseeing the Education, Quality, Medical Records, and Informatics teams. In his current role he guides Angela Hospice’s clinical teams, including Home Hospice Care and the Care Centers at Waterford and Livonia, as well as coordinating organization-wide initiatives to ensure quality care.
Justin holds his Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Mercy College of Ohio. He also serves as the Quality and Regulatory Committee Chair for the Michigan HomeCare & Hospice Association.
