Jennifer Kennedy joined the Angela Hospice board in the fall of 2023 and brings with her decades of experience in marketing and communications. Currently, she serves as the Associate Director of Marketing and Communications for Wayne State University Law School and has worked previously with organizations like Trinity Health (St. Mary Mercy Hospital), Madonna University, and the Livonia YMCA, where she gained valuable experience contributing to her professional integrated marketing career.
Jennifer has had a connection to the Felician Sisters for nearly a lifetime, not only most recently working for Madonna University as Director of Marketing, and her tenure at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in the capacity as Director of Marketing and Public Relations, but as a student at Livonia Ladywood High School, and Redford Township St. Valentine elementary school as well.
Jennifer earned a Bachelor of Arts from Albion College, a Master of Business Administration from University of Detroit Mercy, and a Master of Arts in Higher Education Administration from Madonna University. She also is a Certified Digital Marketing Professional (CDMP) through the Digital Marketing Institute.
Throughout her career, Jennifer has received numerous marketing awards and recognitions, and has been nominated for an Emmy Award for her work in television and journalism. She has served on the Board of Advisors for the University of Detroit Mercy School of Business, the Plymouth and Livonia Family YMCAs, and has been a member of the Society of Strategic Healthcare Marketing and Development (SHSMD) and Public Relations Society of America (PRSA), as well as a member of the American Marketing Association since 2012.
