Amy Roose transitioned into the health care field in 2025 while continuing her connection to her Catholic roots, becoming Director of Mission Integration for Angela Hospice. Previously, Amy served middle and high school students, working for parish ministries and schools throughout the Archdiocese of Detroit for over 20 years, teaching math, religion, and serving in campus ministry. Amy calls herself a servant leader and says mission has always been at her core. Now in her current role, she is charged with continuing the work of the Felician Sisters, making sure the Felician core values are at the forefront of the mission and work of Angela Hospice.
Amy holds a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Eastern Michigan University. She is active in her faith and enjoys volunteering. Her ministry work has taken her as far as Africa and Ecuador.
