Angela Hospice is pleased to announce that nurse Christina Druc has been promoted to manager of our Waterford Care Center.
“We are excited for her to bring her knowledge, experience, and support to the team,” said Justin Muhlenkamp, Angela Hospice’s Chief Operations Officer.
With more than 25 years of nursing experience, Christina is no stranger to caring for the needs of the vulnerable. She spent two decades serving pediatric patients in the ICU before transitioning to hospice nursing.
“I really love helping people when they’re in a crisis,” Christina shared. “I’m a very compassionate person and families tell me that all the time. They say, ‘I just look at your face and I can tell.’”
A graduate from Madonna University’s College of Nursing and Health, Christina joined the Angela Hospice team in 2023 as a nurse in the Livonia Care Center. She’ll take what she has learned from her role at the Livonia Care Center into her new position at the Waterford Care Center.
“My hope for Waterford is that we are able to continue to grow in that community,” Christina said. “I’m excited for this new chapter.”
Christina said she is looking forward to providing support and education, both for patient families and the Angela Hospice team.
“I think my leadership style is more of a collaborative one,” she explained. “I really like to work together with people.”
Outside of work, Christina keeps busy as a mother of four. She’s often traveling with her family for sporting events. She’s outdoorsy too. Christina enjoys fishing, swimming, and anything else that gets her outside.
