Human Resource Generalist

Reports to: Director of Human Resources
Starting Rate: $55,000 annually

We’re looking for a Human Resource Generalist who shares this vision.

Your Opportunities

  • Conducts full-cycle recruitment process.
  • Updates and maintains Angela Hospice job descriptions.
  • Handles all administrative tasks for onboarding and new hire orientation.
  • Participates in new hire orientation.
  • Attends and participates in job fairs and career events.
  • Researches, analyze, prepares, and presents hiring statistics.
  • Assists in Applicant Tracking system set up and ongoing updates, as needed.
  • Maintains employee records and personnel files.
  • Completes verification of employment for all active and terminated staff.
  • Performs data entry of payroll-related documentation.
  • Processes and ensures accurate bi-weekly payroll.
  • Assists in the benefits administration/open enrollment process.
  • Provides support and counseling to employees regarding various HR-related topics.
  • Assists with administrative tasks in the Human Resources Department.
  • Ensures compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Assists in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
  • Assists with Human Resource projects as assigned.

    What You Bring

    • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field required

    • 2-3 years of human resource experience preferred

    • Non-profit, healthcare, and/or human services background desirable

    • Detailed oriented and organized

    • Strong problem-solving, reporting, and analytical skills

    • Proficient computer knowledge and skill of Microsoft Office

    • Experience with HRMS/HRIS systems

    • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills

    • Ability to demonstrate ethical and professional conduct

    • Excellent cultural awareness
