Yesterday was a momentous day for us at Angela Hospice as we received our first doses of the COVID-19 vaccine. A team from CVS Pharmacy vaccinated over 100 Angela Hospice employees and volunteers. Many of our team members found it to be an emotional experience – and one that was filled with hope.
“This is the perfect entry into 2021,” said Angela Hospice President and CEO Marti Coplai.
Nurse practitioner Kristina created signs and posters. Nurse Robert created the video montage below. Many team members signed a large poster sharing their hopes and motivations for receiving the vaccine, and all who were vaccinated received a button they could wear with pride.
The second round of vaccinations will take place in January.
