Clinical Informatics Coordinator

We’re looking for a Clinical Informatics Coordinator who shares this vision.

Your Opportunities

• Identify general electronic medical record training needs, develop training materials and provide training and support to staff, utilizing theories and principles of adult leaning to foster the learning process
• Function as a staff resource for EMR system problem solving and intervention
• Assist in research, development, implementation and evaluation to improve clinical systems for maximum efficiency
• Ensure accurate collection, validation, submission and reporting of Hospice Item Set, Clinical Orders and other data elements as required by CMS and Angela Hospice policy
• Audit staff documentation
• Collect and disperse clinical data to executive, management teams and other departments as needed
• Monitor communications from Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) and National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization

What You Bring

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing, BSN degree preferred 
• Current RN license in the State of Michigan 
• 1 year of EMR implementation experience
• Hospice experience in an inpatient or home care setting preferred
• Excellent organization and time management skills
• Proficient computer knowledge and skill
• Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills
• Knowledge of Federal/State, NHPCO, and CHAP regulations and guidelines
