Talar Takessian has been with Angela Hospice since 2018, and in 2024, after earning her Master of Science in Nursing at the University of Michigan, she joined the Angela Hospice medical team as a Nurse Practitioner. She’s now a board-certified Adult Gerontology Primary Care Nurse Practitioner.
It was after receiving her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from Madonna University that Talar first began her career in the Angela Hospice Care Center, where she worked as a nurse for nearly six years, in the same place she had completed a clinical rotation during her time as a nursing student.
Prior to working at Angela Hospice, Talar was a home caregiver and nurse extern at Beaumont Hospital. Talar is currently a member of the Sigma Theta Tau International Honor Society of Nursing. Fluent in the Armenian language, Talar is also a member of the Armenian Youth Federation.
