Joan Harold

As a former home care nurse, Joan Harold says she is committed to providing guidance and support to frontline clinical staff to help make their jobs easier. In her role as Director of Home Care Clinical Services, she oversees Angela Hospice’s home care clinical staff, home care clinical managers, and the patient support team. Joan joined the Angela Hospice team in 2005, and held various positions within the agency. First an admission nurse, then taking on the role of triage nurse/clinical coordinator, then home care clinical supervisor, Joan was promoted to her current position in October 2020, a role in which she leads and supports the home care team through change, while ensuring quality care. She previously held positions at Hackley Hospital in Muskegon, U of M Hospital, and Indiana University Purdue University Medical Center. A registered nurse, Joan received her bachelor’s degree in nursing from University of Illinois, and is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse.
