Holiday Grief Workshops

The holidays can stir up lots of emotions, and when you’re grieving it can feel especially overwhelming – both for adults and young people. That’s why Angela Hospice has developed a series of events for those processing a loss this holiday season.

Getting Through The Holidays

WORKSHOP FOR ADULTS

Wednesday, November 13, 2 p.m. • Virtual Workshop*
                   OR
Tuesday, November 19, 2 p.m. • In-person Workshop

Presented by our grief care exports, this workshop will help you understand and cope with the symptoms of grief, while offering practical tips that can help you make the season a time to experience peace and joy.

*Registrants for our virtual workshop can pick up an informational packet at the Angela Hospice Care Center entrance. Pickup days are Friday, November 8, and Monday, November 11, from 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. both days.

Children’s Holiday Workshop

FOR AGES 5-16

Saturday, December 7, 1-3 p.m. • In-person Workshop

Children and teens will make a holiday wreath in memory of someone special at our free, interactive workshop, to help them bring memories of their loved on into the holiday season, and their lives, in a new way. They’ll also experience music therapy in a fun and upbeat format, hosted by the Angela Grief Care team.

Supplies will be provided, but participants are encouraged to bring photos or other decorations that have special meaning to them, to include in their project.
