In the book of Ecclesiastes, we are reminded there is a time to be born and a time to die; a time to weep and a time to laugh; a time to mourn and a time to dance. From the moment the pandemic began in March of 2020, millions around the world were denied the privilege to remember their loved ones in a traditional fashion.
On Saturday September 18th, all are welcome to an inter-faith service to celebrate the lives of those who were lost during this terrible period in our world history.
You are encouraged to bring or send a photograph of your beloved family member to be displayed on the wall of remembrance. You will also have an opportunity to create a personal memory ribbon in tribute, to display on the remembrance tree.
All are invited to this historic event. Each participant will be provided a commemorative program and blessed pocket cross to keep in memory of those who have gone to rest before us.
If you would like to take part in this celebration of life, we invite you to contact the cemetery location nearest you for all the necessary information.
We pray this event will help to heal our families through this difficult time. For more information visit cfcsdetroit.org/remember-me
