For a decade Deacon Jenny Ritter has worked for the Felician Sisters, including at Angela Hospice, where she’s been on the team since 2016, and is currently the Director of Spiritual Care.

Prior to her work at Angela Hospice, Deacon Jenny was a chaplain for three years at St. Mary Mercy Hospital in Livonia, and worked as the Parish Administrator at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Brighton. During that time is when she attended Whitaker School of Theology in Detroit and entered the Ordination process through the Diocese of Michigan. She was ordained in 2013 to the Diaconate of The Episcopal Church.

Deacon Jenny has served on a variety of associations and committees throughout the years, including the Faith Action Network and Michigan Peace Team, and currently serves on the board of her parish, St. Paul’s Episcopal. She was also elected to serve on the Diocesan Council of The Episcopal Diocese of Michigan through 2026.
